Lyon’s famous "Fête des lumières"

Lyon’s famous "Fête des lumières" attracts millions of visitors from around the world every year during four days of fascination. This year, ETC was asked to participate on two different sites, and thus enchanted spectators at the Place des Terraux with the show “Hommage to Bartholdi” by Patrice Warrener, and presented the work of the student prizewinners of Beaune’s light festival competition onto the “Clocher de la charité” in the Place Bellecour.

  • Installation of 7 PIGI DDRA and five 20K lumens video projectors for projection images onto the fountain.
  • Utilisation of three 20K lumens video projectors mounted on moving yokes to cast images onto the surrounding walls of the Place des Terraux.
  • Installation of a 25K lumens video projector to project onto the Clocher de la charité.
  • Programming via ETC’s control systems, Onlycue and Onlyview, with synchronistation to the shows’ soundtracks.
