State auditorium & theatre - Poitiers, France
The Théâtre Auditorium de Poitiers (TAP) offers a new European-style national theatre to the town’s residents. The walls of the theatre are covered in frosted glass panels concealing a rear-projection system that is unique in Europe, which was installed and integrated by ETC. Housed in ventilated cubicles and fitted with diverter mirrors, the video projectors allow the theatre to present highlights of shows, display animated information and the venue's program. The device also transforms the theatre into a giant projection system as soon as night falls.
