The royal wedding of Louis XIV, Château de Versailles

The royal wedding of Louis XIV has been honored in a fantastic show which tells the story of the Sun King’s journey to reach Pheasant Island, the place of his marriage. Groupe F designed and staged a one-hour show combining pyrotechnics, sound and images at the Bassin de Neptune in the gardens of the Château de Versailles. The installation of the video projection system was entrusted to ETC, who used their expertise to project images onto the central sphere on which the narrator, Stéphane Bern, stood to recount the story. Projections were also cast onto three water screens and two water jets located in the pond.
